Each participant will have sole use of a 6' table for her sewing pleasure. The fee includes four (4) nights lodging, three (3) meals a day and a fully equipped sewing room with views of beautiful Lake Tahoe. Cutting tables, irons and ironing boards will be supplied as will coffee, tea and water in the sewing room.

For those registering on or before March 11, 2017, the cost for double occupancy is $365 ($405 non ASG members). For those who register after March 12, 2017, the cost for double occupancy is $415 ($455 non ASG members). An upgrade charge of $210 will be assessed for those who prefer single occupancy. Additionally, the conference center now charges an additional $12 per person for vegetarian or vegan requests. Those wishing to upgrade to single occupancy or opt for the vegetarian or vegan meals will indicate their choices on the second page of the Eventzilla registration process.

Note: No refunds will be issued after March 11, 2017 unless there is someone on the waiting list available to fill the spot. Registration deadline is June 1, 2017 or when the event fills – whichever comes first. Registration is limited to 24 people and is available online. educational workshop

With Christine Bernard Come and learn how to make your own personal fashion plate drawing! A croquis (pronounced “crowkey”) is the sketch of a body and in terms of fashion, it is a body sketch wearing a garment design. In simplest terms, it’s the drawing you see on the front of every pattern envelope you’ve ever bought. A custom croquis is an invaluable tool because you can sketch that cute new pattern design directly on your own body sketch and evaluate how it will look before you even purchase the pattern. Learn how to evaluate your proportions and balance points and make flattering garments based upon that knowledge. Discover how “circumference” is not the same thing as “depth” on your body and how to make clothes that fit you better. A list of required materials will be provided to all students prior to class.
